last night there was a full moon, so i pulled out my 500mm reflex lens to get a good shot.

cropped pretty drastically. :)

*there was a lunar eclipse, but i didn't see it unfortunately. (see below!)

"The phenomenon will be visible from parts of all seven continents including the eastern half of North America.

Best time to see this is before sunset, but that won't be possible here in the U.S. However, those on the east coast should have a good view. In Arizona, you can catch the end of the eclipse as the moon rises a bit before 6:30pm tonight. It'll be difficult to see though because the sun doesn't set until close to 7:00pm."
